German courses
I would like to study German now that I will be living here. I'm sure most of you have been doing just the same. Can you suggest language schools in the area of Zurich and Zug?

Also let me know if you know of a place I can go for an intensive conversation course in the coming weeks.

Thanks a lot!

Re: German courses

Hi there, you posted a while ago, but maybe you are still looking?

When I learned German, I started out with a 3-month intensive course (the school has changed franchises and people say it's not among the best anymore). I would now recommend the KVZ Sprachakademie, which has courses ranging from intensive beginners' lessons to diploma prep courses.

After 3 months of grammar and vocabulary, I took evening conversation classes twice a week at Alpha Sprachstudio, which I can warmly recommend. Small classes of like-minded individuals, able teachers, central location, reasonable price.

When I was ready for the Goethe-Diplom I took the prep courses at the KVZ. Excellent teachers, I passed on the first try.

Good luck!
