Golf in the City? Yes, Starting from Parc des Bastions...Anyone Tried It Yet?

From April 14th until September 30th, 2011, the City of Geneva is offering free golf in the center of town. The 9-hole course will stretch over 4 kilometers and range over the two sides of the lake.

Every day from 11h to 19h except on Thursdays from 12 to 20h;

Starts at Parc des Bastions where the balls and clubs are free, distributed from a little purpose-built chalet;

The circuit takes about 2 hours -- not counting stopping for drinks, ice-cream, picnics, etc. along the lake;

The 9 holes of the circuit will allow you to discover the different key sites of Geneva's history such as the Promenade de la Treille, the Jardin Anglais and the Brunswick Monument...

wow, what a nice idea!

For all golf fans: we'll soon feature the 18-hole & 9-hole golf courses of Jiva Hill on BuyClub.ch. It's a 5 star hotel, 10 min away from the airport, with some of the best golf in the region.
