Forget gva go to the markets in ferney Voltaire or Divonne on weekend or if you need more go to the wholesale shop in Divonne.
In gva aligros is the only acceptable one at a reasonable price

Thanks, Marcel and Royle! I had thought of the Collonges sous Saleve market which has very good seafood, but the Ferney Voltaire market is open tomorrow so I'll check that out ... and if not try Aligros and / or Manor. Thanks again!

Yes definitely the markets in Ferney (Saturday) and Divonne (Sunday). There's also a cafe/restaurant at Place du Molard (next to Globus) that offers take-away seafood. Expensive but apparently very good.

I dont know if good or not , but I am sure it will be ... Rive indoor market has a fish store - market day is Saturday
