Good places for Birthday Parties?
The little boy I am watching is turning six at the end of february and I am in charge of finding a place for his party. Do you guys have any ideas? Something active and fun would be nice!
Thanks!

Hi,

We had a party at La Praille for our 4 year old son in November. It was a pirate theme and was well organised, the children played games in one large room , had a break for food in another, then more games.

For birthday parties ( starting on p. 313)

Jour de Reve (www.jourdereve.com) English speaking puppet shows, plays, clowns; also decorations and total organization of a party. Formulated for ages 4-12.

l'Atelier des bricolos 022.300.4030 Petit Lancy
Organize 2 take home craft projects for a maximum 15 children (minimum age 4)

Rent a historical tram
unireso.ch
Vaud

Billy's www.billy~s.com
Indoor play area for kids 7 months to 7 years. (I think this one is in Vaud)

Alimentarium, Vevey
Kids make their own birthday cake/
www.alimentarium.ch

Atelier de Ceramique, Bussigny
8 children max, ages 5+
www.latelierceramique.ch

Hope these are helpful. I highly recommend this book even if you don't have children. There is so much information in here. It's available at Off the Shelf and most like Payot as well. American International Women's Club probably sells it as well.
