Got a car booster seat to give / sell ?

Looking for a cheap / free booster car booster seat, one of those suitable for 15kg and up, without the back etc, just the bum cushion thingy..

Wife is going back to the UK mid April and will pick up a hire car at the UK airport.. They want 15chf per day to rent the damn thing!!

I don't want to borrow it cos she might end up not bringing it back, depending on luggage etc and travelling with two kids.. Hence cheap / free  :)

I don't have one, but at Jumbo you can get them for below 100 CHF. They may not be high quality but they do meet legal criteria.

Jeeze 100chf .. I'm talking one of these things that cost less than 10gbp

It's to use while in the UK mostly for a couple of weeks..  I'm not up to speed on the swiss regulations yet since we've still to buy a car.

hi,

You can def get one for about 20-40chf - i think I got mine from M-Parc. I am sure they have them at Jumbo for about that too but haven't looked too closely there.

If it only costs £10, why don’t you arrange to buy one in the UK?

As for the Geneva prices that have been mentioned, welcome to CH!

John:

1. you can purchase one at second-hand store or charity organisation (Emmaus style) Cost be ca. CHF 10.- at most.

2. you can arrange to have a parcel delivered on previous day to your wife's attention directly at the car hire company in UK so you better control your UK price ca. £10.and you even save on hassle to carry one in airplane
