Hey All, does anyone have a link ot the 'rules for grills' in Geneva on Balconies. Like others, if I ask the regie, they will just say no, regardless of the rule (having lived in this flat for 2 years, we have gotten used to not asking them anything). We have the top balcony and are thinking of a small gas grill for 1 or 2 times a week grilling. Just want to see what we are up against prior to purchasing.... or perhaps we might be selling a small gas grill on the classified in a few weeks. Any help is appreciated.

As long as the smoke doesn't blow sideways into neighboring apartments, nor below (trust me, smoke does go down), then go ahead.
Beware of days when there is wind or downdrafts. I would recommend only a gas grill with a closed lid, and try to keep the smoke level down. Alternatively if you are a handyman, rigging up a metal chimney/stovepipe could save you some grief. Bottom line: nobody cares until they start gagging on your smoke.
