I have played with the band "the Sterones" in Geneva for 2 years, original stuff, and wanted to set up my own band after that. For 4 months it didn't work out, mainly because we could not find a good singer and because the bass player and drummer finally did not get along musically. It's not easy to find the right people.
I like composing but also covers. With one of my old bands "Catfish Lilly" we used to play some Dire Straits (Water of love, Lions), Mike and the Mechanics (Another cup of cofffe), Amy (No good), Red Hot Chili Peppers (Otherside, Californication), Police (Roxanne), Green Day (Boulevard of broken dreams), ZZ Top (Thanks you)... to give you an idea.
I like stuff likeThe Who, James Brown, Hendrix, The Commitments, Cream, Lou Reed, Bowie, Dylan, Bashung, Ryan Adams, Motörhead, Springsteen, Tracy Chapman, REM, U2, GnR, RHCP, 22 Pistepirkko, Placebo, Coheed and Cambria, The Killers, Pink, Govt Mule, the Stones.
Who are the other musicians (and what do you play)? Do you have a rehearsal room? Could you send me a list of the songs you would like to play?
