Gyms and bookshop

Hi all,

can you please suggest me where can I find good gyms and/or swimming pools? I live in Route de Malagnou (corner Rue le Corbusier).

One more question: which is the most equipped bookshop in Geneva?

Thanks!!

There are no huge huge bookshops in geneva, but i always find all i want at Payot on rue chantepoulet or FNAC close to Rive (the one at balexert is also nice). but truly, for getting english books i always go online with http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/.

I agree with the bookshops that Wanessa mentioned, especially Payot has a good selection of English books. But by ordering at Amazon.co.uk you will save at least 50%. Just make sure you keep individual orders below 60 CHF so you don't pay import taxes.

Plaza Sport across fom Coop 2000 is a decent gym with a small swimming pool.  They offer an aquatics only membership also.  For books I use amazon.
