I am probably not far from computer illiterate when it comes to setting things up on a computer and I so have hardly touched anything since this computer was set up initially.
I appear, however, to have done something unintentionally.. (must have been last night before shutting down I presume, I was very tired..) .. with my computer.. that has resulted in the display windows having a different appearance. when I open it up this morning - just a short while ago.
I would be very grateful if someone could tell me what I have done and how to correct it please. I have a iMac G5 1.9 GHz Power PC G%, if that makes any difference, but imagine what I've unintentionally done could be done on PC too.
It is like everything on the screen is magnified, including desktop items, writing of finder menus at top of screen and all display and browser windows.
Although this might make for ease of reading it means that I can no longer view browser windows entirely, and if I reduce the window size by the extreme left lower corner, the browser window just cuts down my view of the window even more.
Can anybody tell me what I have done. please..? ..and how to remedy the situation..?

hi, this MIGHT help...
go to the little apple at the top left...
system preferences....
displays....
and then click on the different number settings till things look normal.
Either that or the old reliable "turn it off anf turn it back on again"... have you tried that?
