I have been in Geneva 4 years and never managed to find a good hairdresser. I really need one that is good for colours/highlights. Any advice?

In this forum I found only reviews of 3 places places. That's not a lot. I was just wondering if anyone had an interesting recommendation. Just looking for additional advice, no harm in that. Thanks.

I have the same problem.. not an easy thing to find ! Phillip at Globus did a good job. One of the problems is trying to explain that you dont want highlights on top of highlights, (just the roots), and I'm yet to find somewhere that will happily do that.
p.s. seems you were a naughty girl to ask, which that makes me one too for answering :-) .. oh dear !

Just decided to go to homepage and click on Geneva info but I cannot see it. I know that this section DID exist as I tried to add links to hair salons many a time without success. However i do not see it anymore. Perhaps I am just being useless or perhaps not?!

the hairdresser that is on rue des paquis, just next to the boulangerie at the end of the road nearest to gare routiere (i think it is opposite cafe brasil). Sorry i cannot give specific details as I am not in geneva at the moment!
The man in there is very helpful, speaks french and english, trained by vidal sassoon company in london for 8 years. I would trust him to do colours on my hair (i use vidal sassoon in london when I go back but have him cut my hair at the moment and it is a good cut). I have not yet had him do colours on my hair but he is the closest i have come to being happy with in geneva!
and they are REALLY reasonably priced - 80 chf for a cut.

Hi, Best hair dresser Is Isabelle Thoro she have hair salong "Dessange" in Ferney-Voltaire and Divonne bought in france. But I tell u she is the best I have found here! Been in many places and she is the one I can say...She is the best I ever met and ever let to do my hair (colore ect.)
Lady have been in buissnes more then 10 years and many peopel from geneva..lausanne takes car or bus to there...just becose they realy like what she is doing! And all who work there are the best ones all over the france.
Ferney-Voltaire is only 15 minutes from geneva centre.
Trust me I know what I am telling u!

I went to Jemma at Toni & Guy... see above... and can really recommend her. I am incredibly fussy with my hair and am almost invariably disappointed but I was very happy with my colour!!!
