Help with Blackberry needed

I would be so greatful if someone could give me some much needed advice on Blackberry synchronisation with my laptop.

I follwed directions and uploaded some drivers for the correct version, and i now have installed a desk manager but cannot figure out how to display my appointments from the berry to the laptop and backwards and to also update either way.

So greatful for your help on this and whoever solves it the quickest gets invited for lunch in town!

many thanks

Lydia

Hey, I had the same problem before. A couple questions:

1. Are your appointments already entered into outlook?

2. When you open up the Desktop Manager, does it go through everything and update (and give you alerts as to whether or not you want to accept changes)?

If both of those are fine, go into the Desktop Manager --> Synchronize. Make sure the box is checked for Synchronize Organizer Data. Then on the left menu, click Synchronization under the Configure menu. Click Synchronization on the main menu. Select your device. Select everything you want to sync. Run through the wizard and follow its directions. Then synchronize it.

Let me know if that helps!

Thank you so much,

Actually, I had not made the connection that this works with outlook because I used to have a Palm that connected its own little programme before.  So, I just turned on outlook and now I SEE what you mean.  The updates are taking place just fine and all is running somoothly.

So, it was solved in less than a minute!  Thank you so much again.  You and your lovelly partner get invited for promised lunch in town!  Let me know how this works for you two!

Regards

Lydia

Lydia, I'm glad you got your blackberry up and running. Haha lunch is not necessary, but if you really feel obliged, send me a message and we'll set something up for the new year.
