I work from home most of the time and I sometimes need a change of scene. I need the internet to work of course, preferably a fast connection.
Any places I can go to sit and work and enjoy a high speed Internet connection? I've gone to Starbucks before, but the Internet was down today and the staff really didn't seem to care/know how to fix it.
Any other places to go? Coffee shops? Internet cafes that will let me use MY computer and wifi?

American pool bar near Cornavin, certain hotels, certain restaurants. It depends on how much bandwidth you need. If it's just e-mail then a 3g modem will be fine.

The city of Geneva has a site with map that provides information on wifi by neighborhood. It's not translated into English but you can pretty easily figure it out, I think.
