Hi,
Generally you need to turn to a shoe repair store as they have powerful sewing machines or the like. Otherwise a talented seamstress able to work on jeans shall be able to repair the alterations.

You can also go to the Cordonnerie de Longemalle, 7 place de Longemalle, 1204 Geneva. They are specialized in this sort of work and it’s where the airlines send damaged luggage for repair.
