Hobbyist machinist or small parts maker?

Hi folks,

This is a long shot, but I'm a paper artist and just picked up a lovely antique bookbinders paper cutter. I'm cleaning it up and restoring it, but there are a few small parts that need repair. I was wondering if anyone on the forum is, or has a friend, who is a machinest or can share if they've had a project that involved getting a very small machining job done (on the order or matching/replacing a single custom screw).

Any other ideas or hints about where I might find help would be great as well!

Thanks!

This is also a long shot but why not visit the Plainpalais market and look for the booksellers.

One of them may know of a bookbinder who could help you.

All the best anyway,

R.

N.B.

To the best of my knowledge, the booksellers are only there on flea market days.
