Homeopathic Medicine in Geneva

I am looking to buy homeopathic medicines in Geneva. Can anyone help with any information. If you have ordered it online, please suggest the website. In case it is not available in Geneva but in other city in Switzerland, please indicate that as well.

I already have a prescription from my family doctor on email so only need the medicines, not a doctor.

Try this place.  They will also have some one who speaks English.

PHARMACIE DES EAUX-VIVES. Pharmacie. 16, rue des Eaux-Vives GENÈVE.

I'd like to confirm that the Pharmacie des Eaux-Vives is excellent and the staff are most obliging.

For instance, I was looking for a hay fever remedy for an English friend who lives in California. This isn't available in the UK or Switzerland, but the Pharmacie said I would find it in a chemist just over the border at Moillesulaz (terminus of tramlines 12, 16, and 17).

I certainly did and I now keep my friend regularly supplied.

Incidentally, most homeopathic medicines are cheaper in France.

Good luck !  R.

All chemists in Geneva  sell homeopathic medecine , & will order it if it's not in stock. The chemist that specialises is Pharmacie de Bergues. It's true that they are cheaper in France though.

Hello Sumit.  I am a homeopath here in Geneva and the remedies I get from the pharmacies in Geneva are supplied by Schmidt-Nagel who I was advised is the best supplier here.  I don't know if this helps, but good luck.

Homeopathic is the norm here.  You don't need to visit a special pharmacy.

A few days later you call the doctor, get a 2nd scrip for something that actually works, go back to the pharmacy a 2nd time, get something with half the potency of the medicine back home, in half the quantity, and pay 4x as much for it.

Welcome to Switzerland.

Richard, it's not politically correct to criticise people’s religion.

I assume that this is also not politically correct.

Sumit,

True, you can find homeopathic remedies in CH and in France at any chemist although bear in mind that they do not necessarily have the potency you need so you might have to order a day in advance.  Alternatively, you can also order online with a U.K. based company -> Check HELIOS.co.uk, they are located in Kent and have very good quality products (!). It's probably best if you know someone who live in France so you do not pay extra tax on delivery...

Good luck!

Sumit,

I don't mean to start a flame or offend anyone, but have you considered using, like, real medicines (with real active ingredients)?  You do know that homeopathy is really only a placebo?

If it "works" as a placebo, it doesn't work!

Or to better put it, it isn't homeopathy that works, it's the whole treatment: having a doctor listening to you and caring about your ailments (on the level of social interactions, patients report being much more satisfied with homeopathic doctors than with regular doctors).

Good morning all and Happy Friday ^^!

Sumit's query is about where to find a particular product in a particular place, not to debate about everyone's opinion :).

So... Please, to avoid spamming our private inbox about things we were first not interested in, could interested parties open their own thread.

Thanks a million - and enjoy this BH weekend :D

Dear Omegaman,

thank you very much for the Friday morning lesson :), You are too clever for me!

I have to admit I am quite busy and have no spare time to spend on irrelevant comments that have nothing to do with the original question.

My aim was only to try and help Sumit (unless I can't understand Sumit's query).  But maybe that is the case, if so... Sumit, sorry about that ;)).   But as you do do have time, I am very happy to leave this entire thread to you :D, please feel free.

This response is deliberately low in content in order to make it more effective.
