Hot Desking

Hello,

My boyfriend is coming to visit over Easter and decided to work remotely from Geneva for the day before (April 1st) and the day after (April 6th) the holidays. He'll be equipped with WIFI capable lap top.

I need to find him a hot desk with WIFI or at least work friendly environment for him to work remotely from for those two days. The airport / Starbucks and McDonalds are an option but the noise would make life difficult. I found a hot desk company who are charging CHF 25/ hour which is not a realistic option for a 9 hour day.

Being new to the country I don't have an extensive network to pool ideas from / call in favors so hopefully someone in this forum has experienced this / knows a suitable company / has a great suggestion of a quiet location with free / reasonabley priced internet.

Geneva loves free wifi. It's even in the parks.

This is the map of all the hotspots:

Certainly any of the public libraries should have accessible wifi and a quiet work environment. List of libraries:

I sometimes use wifi in the parc des bastions, close to university des bastions, there is a friendly and relatively quiet bar in the park next to where people play chess and two minutes walk from there at the cafeof maison des arts la grütli, one minute form the Grand théâtre...

Also in the premises of any of university buildings in Plainpalais...the most quiet and friendly one being perhaps UNI MAIL...also in Plainpalais...
