Hotel in Istanbul

Hi,

I am planning to go visiting Istanbul. Does anybody know any nice (central, clean and not too expensive) hotel there, please ?

Many thanks for your help.

Cheers,

Aurelie

Hey Aurelie,

Istanbul is a very big city, population is nearly 20 mill :)

Do you want to stay in the European side or the Asian(Anatolian) side ?

Hi Dennisss,

I'm from a city with 16 million people, so I guess I'll feel pretty much at home in Istanbul.

I actually don't mind the side of the city as long as there is a good hotel. However it is important for me to stay in the city center.

Meny thanks for your help.

Cheers

as there are several hundreds of options, I would recommend location rather than hotel names..If you would like closer to old city ( mosques & grand bazaar topkapı palace) , than you better look for a hotel in Sultanahmet region. Eminönü and Sirkeci would be cheaper locations for same purpose.. If you would like to be close to shopping areas and night life, than Taksim would be more convenient place to stay. Furthermore, you will be in the heart of public transportation network and can go all around interesting spots...Based on your location preference and additionally your budget , you can filter many hotels in well known web sites like booking.com, ebookers, hrs etc....istanbul is a great city enjoy it...
