We live in Chene Bourg (just b4 Thonex going out) and we find it perfect. Public Transport direct to city (even a bus to the airport (no. 5) - close to French border for shopping - has the normal Migros and Co-op - great sporting facilities if you are into that- some v good resturaunts around as well. All in all a good choice I would say.
