How is Carouge for kids?

Hi,

We are new to Geneva and are considering living in Carouge. Are there any outdoor playgrounds and parks in that area since we have 2 young kids?

cheers

I'd say that Carouge is relatively safe for children although there is heavy traffic in some areas. Probably still more pleasant than most other places in the center (e.g. Plainpalais, Eaux-Vives).

Just to clarify - if you don't already have an apartment in mind and you're new to Geneva, you probably don't want to limit yourself too much while you're searching. The housing market is already tough without those limitations.
