How to find Cheap flights in/ou of Geneva to Barcelona and other Euro destinations

Greetings everyone!

How is everybody doing?:)

I'm fairly new to this forum and loving it so far.

At the end of June/beg. July I will looking to book a flight Geneva-Barcelona and was wondering if anyone would know of the best airline/website to do so?

I've been told there are lots of airlines that provide great rates within Europe, but so far the prices I've found for GVE-BCN return are around 160 Euros.

Does it seem reasonable or do you think I can find better?

thats not a bad price, you may get it for 99chf if your very luck. swiss or easyjet would be the ones i would look in to. swiss can be very very cheap, they can also go the other way and charge a fortune, easyjet are a bit more consistant with there prices

Hello,

Easyjet & swiss have quite similar prices. My suggestion is try to avoid to fly on friday & sunday when the prices are going up !

I usually check kayak, expedia, travelocity and see which airlines are offering the best prices and then I check with those airlines' websites to see if it's any cheaper booking direct.

For budget airlines,

www.whichbudget.com

You pick the city you want to leave from, then the destination city, and they tell you which low cost airlines fly that route.

Actually, my trip to Barcelona is a month away.

Do you know typically, if rates are better a week or two before the departure dates (more options last minutes) or if deals are usually best a month prior to D day?

Just another side on the web, but it includes low cost lines and is quite cheap in general.

www.atrapalo.com

It is a Spanish web based thing, but it works well. I have used it for hotels in Portugal, Spain and UK. As well as for flights! You get everything you need as a voucher online.
