How to start finding a partime job or volunteer in Geneva?

Hello everyone


How to start finding a partime job or volunteer in Geneva? Unfortunately I have language barriers as I do not speak good English and nothing in French. I am Chinese and really need to make some friends, but not sure where to start for me to speak French too. (I soon will take French lessons for sure!)


 


Perhaps to support travellers in the airport who does speaks only Chinese, or for the travel agencies, or maybe in the school to volunteer teaching Chinese to the children?....I really have no clue where to start, any ideas would be very much appreciated! Thanks a lot in advance.

have you considered to contact (or go to) the chinese embassy in Geneva? Maybe you can get some suggestion..

It is not always necessary to speak English or French, the will to help is what matters Smile

you can contact ICVolunteers for activities dealing with translation, interpreting, event management and more projects.


I am currently volunteering with them and they are always looking for volunteers.
