Hi Marek,
Most airlines will have a counter for oversized luggage, where you can drop off anything that doesn't fit standard check-in dimensions. Just fold/wrap it up nicely and be prepared to pay through your nose. Might be worthwhile to check with your carrier on size/weight limits and rates before you head out to the airport, though.
