Liana and I have exchanged mails but my 16 year old son, a student at the Conservatoire de musique and ECG (theater option), speaks only little English. However, for those who speak or understand French fairly well, he gives guitare classes for a very reasonable price, he has one year experience in giving private tuition, various styles.

We live in the Servette/Grottes area in Geneva.

CHF 25.- (usual price with a qualified teacher is around CHF 80.-) but best to speak directly with my son as it is his activity.

p.s. the reasonable price concerns a teenage student's expectations, may I add !

Hi there, I do not know if you are still looking for lessons, but this is the ad I have posted on glocals:

If you are motivated and passionate about learning to play the guitar and you are looking for an experienced teacher for a great price? Keep on reading.

In order to attain a good level, consistency is key. This means that I will only work with students who are willing to make time every week or several times per week for a minimum of 2 months.

There are several options possible.
First of all, I charge 35CHF per hour. 1 session can consist of 1 or more hours. That depends on you. The number of times per week is also flexible.
I personally recommend a minimum of 10 lessons per month for optimal results. I speak english and dutch fluently, I can work around basic french for now.
Furthermore, the lessons will take place either at my home in Geneva or on location (your house if you prefer). Travel costs will be charged if I have to travel to you.
In August I am offering a 2 week crash course of 2 hours per day (mon - fri) = 20 hours for 500CHF (reduced), but this is only for August.
I only take 3 students at a time in order to devote all my time and energy to them.
If you are interested, please send me a message with your motivation, name , age, level and what you wish to achieve. Also inform me how many lessons you would like and when.

Kind Regards
Matt.
