OK, GOLers: I am a sushi snob, and I am desperately seeking sushi. Not overpriced and/or medium-to-poor quality sushi. I'm talking very-good-to-great sushi that doesn't break the bank. Is it possible here? I admit that I was terribly spoiled when I lived in LA (great sushi) and traveled to Tokyo ('nuff said) for work, but is it really impossible to find here? If it is great but expensive, I'll deal with it. I just can't take mediocre sushi.
So...If you have sushi restaurant reviews (other than the ones that are already on the forum), please post them in the restaurant review forum so everyone can use your reviews (and so I can stuff my face with awesome hamachi / maguro and stop going insane!)!
PS -- I have been to Mikado (sure to be many people's reco). It's ok, but it's not the level I'm looking for.
Thank you!

Hi Tiffany,
one of my favourite is Uchino in Versoix. Lots of Japanese go there...might be a sign...
Otherwise, Sagano, near the HCR, is nice too...
Cheers,
Pik

On Villereuse slightly up the hill from the coop and migros. THE BEST sushi in town, English speaking waiter (from San Diego) and some of the more regular and irregular dishes you could want.
