Lavinia sells wine and spirits from around the world. I don't think they carry beer. You have aussie beers in some of the pubs.

There's a *palais des bières* at the Cygnes commercial center, near the train station. They've got around 300 beers, but I don't know if they have australian's beers

I think it was there that it happened to me...
If Munich is too far: They have one in Zurich, too which is only second to the "Wiesn"
Karl N might be able to provide more information.

I think it finished last week. Anyway, you don't go to the Oktoberfest for the beer (not that I mind German beer). The main reason to go is the Dirndl.

Amstein SA is a beer importer that supplies many of the "beers of the world" bars and shops. They have their own retail shop above Vevey, but also an online one with three kind of Aussie beers : Coopers pale ale, Coopers Sparkling Ale and Coopers Extra stout.
The boss is a young and dynamic guy, always on the lookout for new ideas. If you point him to a good beer he doesn't know, he may be interested
