Can any of you recommend a shipping/ moving company that would be able to transport about 8 suitcases and boxes of possessions from Geneva to Edinburgh (Scotland).
I'm looking for the most inexpensive option.
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated, many thanks in advance.

try Britbeck (http://www.britbeck.com/) .. they do deliveries every 2-3 weeks from UK to Switzerland, and are delighted to be able to bring things back to the UK as well..
email [email protected] and ask him... tell him Chris Thomas sent you.

There is 'manwithavan' also. His name is Sandy, and goes to the uk on a fairly regular basis. He has moved a few of my friends inside geneva and one to copenhagen. Nothing but smiles so far. He is super busy so he might not even be available.
So I'd give a few a call and see who gives you the best deal :)
Check reputation though, some have been known to treat packages with less than a gentle touch
