International pharmacy

Hello all, My doctor has given me a prescription for a medication I used to get at home (US) but that is not sold in Switzerland. She said there is an international pharmacy in Geneva that can order in 2-3 weeks, but I haven't been able to find anything in my searches online. Any suggestions very much appreciated.

I cant see this as being legal. The purpose of not having some US drugs in CH is because some ingredients are banned here! Maybe I am mistaken on this, but this is what I was told when I tried getting medication. I was given an alternative which wasn't as effective but I had no choice.

It seems to be legal (at least they seem to be advertising openly online), but I'll let you know. I have been warned that my health insurance may not cover it.

Here's a link I found using Bertrand's info above

Buyer beware: This place is terrible.

I went to the international pharmacy with my unavailable-in-Geneva prescription for ear drops. They took the prescription, and called me back in a couple of days, asking me to bring in my original bottle so they could see the dose. I did that, and the young attendant couldn't find the prescription I had left a few days before. She tracked it down eventually and promised they'd call me back. A week later, after I hadn't heard anything, I went back in twice over the following month. Each time, nothing had been done, and there seemed to be a lot of confusion about the prescription, whether or not I had brought in the bottle, etc.

A week ago I went in AGAIN and spoke to the pharmacist, who again was confused about the sequence of events but promised to call me back that day to confirm the order had been placed. I did not hear back that day, but I did get a call several days later to say "the prescription is too complicated and cannot be filled." The whole process took 6 weeks. I still don't have my prescription.

Again, this is the place - I personally am never going near it again.
