Hi all,
I am staying 3 months in a hotel in Geneva (between Cornavin and Quai du Mont Blanc) with a very expensive laundry service :-)
Therefore, I am looking for a not too expensive way to get my clothes washed, and my shirts ironed. I've already seen so 'laundry automats' in the city, but my shirts should also be ironed (I have to look reasonable at work ;-)
Therefore, I would appreciate any suggestions to get my shirts ironed (buying an iron for just 3 months is not worth it I believe). Of course, the cheapest/best place to get my clothes washed is also welcome!
Thx a lot!!
Kurt

There are laundry shops spread around near the Gare de Cornavin.
I have tried the one on the corner of rue de montbrillant/ passage des alpes (behind the gare de cornavin) and they are pretty friendly. They don't speak much English, though.
There's another one across the road from the station on your side.
Also there's www.5asec.ch
Hope some of that helps.
