Will any restaurants be open? I assume the ones at Cornavin and the airport, but where else?

Most shops will close on Wednesday by 19h00, and re-open on Friday morning - not sure about the Restaurant openings on Thursday, sorry.

Some will, some won't.  You have to check with your favourite eateries.

The fast-food and Asian outlets will probably all be understandably busy.

But if you're looking to go to a "special occasion" place, best to reserve in advance.  Genevans love to have a good nosh on their "fasting" day. More seriously, the Jeûne is a traditional time for family reunions while the weather is, hopefully, still good.

Enjoy!
