Job searching...

Hi everybody,

So I move to Geneva in May with my fiancé who has a job with CERN. I'm struggling to find any jobs for me, a lot say you need to be fluent in more than 1 language ( I only really know English)

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to do my job searches, is it to early to start looking yet?

Did any of you move over without having a job secured? It's very scary and nerve wracking but I'm also very exited too!

Re: Job searching...
Post 1

Hi Cassie,

As your post is dated from January, I assume you found a job by now.

I was just curious to know if you managed to find one before you actually moved there or if you got it once you were there?

I've been searching for a job in Switzerland (currently live in Spain), and even though I found some roles that only required English, they did inform me that they were looking for candidates already living in the region.

Just wanted a little feedback to know how your experience was.

Thanks and regards,

Oliver
