With the close of EKO bar, I am at a loss for where to go to have an epic Karaoke night in this town.
I am aware of Mr. Pickwicks occasional thursday night karaokes.... but is there anything else? I'm starting to get withdrawal symptoms.

You have a lot of places in Geneva to do karaoké. Every wednesday night, you can to the "Francis bar". This is the adress : Boulevard Helvétique 8 1206 GENEVE
You have "Arbalete Bar" every thursday night. The adress : Rue Tour Maîtresse 4 1204 GENEVE
And every friday and saturday night, you have "Victoria's Pub" : Rue du Grand Bureau 16 1227 GENEVE

When did this happen? Why did EKO close?
Line_line M, how does Victoria's compare with it? Selection of songs/atmosphere/clientele... if you know. I was hoping to go for a big karaoke session this Friday with friends!

Sadly, the owners of the building did not want to continue to let the space. Hopefully the very awesome management of EKO will regroup and find a new home soon (and hopefully I hear about it!)

Victoria pub trip report:
It's not as casual as EKO but there's no stage so it's still nice and laid back. There are DJs who play songs and have some banter with the audience between karaoke tunes. They've got a big list of songs (more British than American) including a huge number of French and Italian songs too. I had a great time with my friends last night, we'll go again soon!

New bar just opened in Charmilles it's called Emporium. 21 rue de bourgogne.
tHE KARAOKE NIGHT is EVERY THURSDAY AND IT'S AWESOME.
1 DJ and one guy who MC's the karaoke nd great english database. The guy also uses youtube so you can pretty muchrequest any song you like.
Craziest thing is you sing on a awesome stage in front everyone.
I had a great time there and i would recommend to anyone looking for an awesome karaoke night.
Only problem or good thing ( depens on who) is taht the bar is completely new not many people know it so i guess that it's on us to do what we gotta do make it alive :)
