I've searched through the forums, looked in the City Guide, but I still can't find recommendations for a karaoke bar in town. For Thursday. In web search, I found that the SantaCruz bar has karaoke on Thursday, but has anyone been there? Tried it out?
Any karaoke tips? Suggestions? I have never done this before, but a friend has convinced me that it's time to step out and try.

OMG, i was just menitoning this over dinner yesterday..it would be so great to go out and karaoke...the only one i have ever seen is the macumba..but way too far to enjoy it...
if you find anything in town...pls let me know..

If u r in Zurich, then I remember seeing a Karaoke room in XTRA. However Iam not sure if the room is open every weekend. It is advisable to check before.

There is a nice chinese one close to Servette, but i cant remember the name of the street...
it's around this spot:

in rue voltaire I think, just after the passage below the train if you come from the lake.

It's not a Karaoke Bar but the last Thursday of the month the Mr Pickwick Pub has karaoke after their Music quiz, so in fact it's this week..
