kitesurf in gva impossible only wakeboard or windsurf maybe. you have to go to southern france i believe

I have never done it mysel but I regularily see kitesurfers at Excenevex plage (close to Yvoire in neighbouring France). The Excenevex plage is the only sandy beach around lake Geneva.

Here you can see all official kitespots in Switzerland.

As far as i know until at least 2014 you won't be able to get courses anywhere except for Silvaplana lake.
