Ladies water polo in Geneva.

Hello,

I want to join the ladies water polo team in Geneva....however, I was just wanting to know if there are any other expats playing already? I used to play until a couple of years ago...and now with all the excellent swiss food i'm eating, i wanna get back in the game! But I just wander what the standard is like... and if there are any ex pats playing...is it possible to enjoy urself when ur french is quite basic??

Cheers, Rachel

hi rachel,

i played with the ladies team in geneva for a season. when i started i had no french at all but got by fine at training etc. i enjoyed it but found i was missing out on the "craic" in the pool and after. that was a couple years ago now so things might have changed now, maybe go and check out a couple sessions and see how you get on! if ya have any other questions or if i can help in any other way feel free to mail.

Mmm, you're getting me thinking I might want to get back into it to!

Used to play as a teen, and def need to get back into shape too. I try to go at the pool but lengths get a little boring.

Can you post or mail me the info for this team?
And for Sharon, what is their level? IE are beginners welcome? (ok I used to play but I am sure its been so long I must be HORRIBLE!!!)

thanks ladies!
