Language test (oral) for naturalization - Geneva

Hi there,

I'm going to take the French languge test soon at UOG for Swiss naturalization. The oral test takes about 15 minutes, and the level is B1. Has anyone taken it recently? I'll greatly appreciate it if someone can tell me what the test was like. Thank you in advance!

I have taken it a few weeks ago.
There is no need to be stressed. All they want to know is if you are able to express your opinion about an easy topic and if you can understand them...

Yes, it is.

If possible take the B1 oral. Thus you will save time and money in case u would like to start the naturalizacao process afterwards.

Is this exam at UOG the one certificate accepted for permit C?

Is the certificate of DELF recognized by OCPM too for permit C or not?

yes it is B1 also for naturalization, you can see the link below, but as I understand so far they need official exam certificate (like DELF, FIDE,...) for naturalization, some other certificate from UOG or migro is working only for requesting permitB, C

maîtriser la langue française (équivalent ou supérieur au niveau B1 à l'oral et A2 à l'écrit du Cadre européen commun de référence pour les langues);

I am not 100 percent sure about which exam you should take for naturalization, please ask OCPM to get the detail but about the required level it is quite clear,
