Laundromat in Plainpalais?

Hi everyone - Does anyone know of a laundromat in Plainpalais where you can leave your laundry and pay to have it done? If this kind of service isn't availble in the area - where is the closet regular laundromat? Why does doing laundry in Geneva give me so much anxiety?

Thanks for any input and bon weekend to all,

Carm

There's a 5àSec near Plainpalais, in Rue de Carouge

Hey thanks a lot - I guess so,  but do you know if they charge by weight or is it per item? I saw somewhere it's almost 5 CHF for a shirt, including pressing and the whole thing... I just need wash, dry, fold...

Hi Carm, dont know if you've found the service you're looking for, but there is one at Rue de la Servette next to the COOP. They do wash and dry, its not expensive, open late and even works on sundays i think.

U get there by bus no 3 from the Bastions stop or take tram 14 at the Bel Air. 10min ride.

5asec is not what you're looking for; they do dry cleaning.

There's a laundromat just off Rue de Carouge, on a little square. I think it's on the crossing of Rue de Carouge and Rue du Pre-Jerome. About 4 years ago it was 5Fr for a small load and 10Fr for a big one, plus 1-2Fr for detergent. Bring coins.
