I am applying for my Swiss passport finally after all these years in Geneva. HAve been told that it will take up to 2 years. Can anyone recommend a lawyer who could help to speed up the process?

You can not speed uo the process, it takes between 11 and 18 months on average from the day you drop pff your completed dossier.

Jay is right. You cannot speed up this process. Not sure that taking a lawyer will give you extra credit versus Federal decision, it will be even harder. Get all the paper word done, and wait.

I am a lawyer and can confirm that it is normally not possible to speed up the process. Where a lawyer can help is making sure that the paperwork is filled out correctly and coaching you about dos and don'ts.
