Library with WIFI access

Hi All,

I'm looking for a library with free wifi access so that I can work on my master thesis.

Due to the fact that I'm a student of a German university and not paying tuitition fees to the Swiss/Geneva university, the wifi is often restricted to the official students of that university (I already tried Unimail and Bastion).

Or if someone of you who studies at Unimail can share the wifi access with me for the next four weeks, I would be more than grateful. :)

Since, I'm living on the opposite of Unimail it would be my favourite library.

Otherwise, any library with wifi access would be helpful as well.

Thank you so much for your help.

Cheers,

Yvonne

Thank you, guys.

Starbucks and similar places don't work for me if I wanna write my master thesis. Difficult to concentrate ;)

That's why I'm looking for a university's library since this is the perfect place to work in peace.

Not all public libraries have free wifi. As said: Unimail and Bastion only grant access to their own studens. I'm allowed to sit in their library but I don't get wifi access.

Don't ask me why. Nowadays you have normally free wifi everywhere but in the libraries where you actually need it, it's limited to certain people.

De Lalan, what is the name of the university? Unfortunately, I don't know Rue de la Servette that well.

Bibliothèque de Genève in the Parc des Bastions - the oldest library in Geneva (almost 60 km of books), but with free wifi bien sur !!!!! It's my favorite place to write in the city.

Or UniMail many many many places to write, read, but for wifi you've need of a university account.

Finally, in the Cafe Remor many people go to write.

ciao ciao
