Same here - I am fed up of being unable to draw anything, so I am well below a perfect beginner - a beginner with two left hands. But I would like to give it a try if a teacher is ready to bear my attempt !

So far I have tested two life drawing workshops in GVA:

1) PICTURA, in Petit Saconnex, french speaking, takes place every Tuesday and Thursday (18h15-20h15). Price for 2 hours (20.-). 2) ECOMUSEE VOLTAIRE/API, close to the railway station, takes place every Tuesday (18h30-20h30). Price for 2 hours (20.-) - glass of wine included. thanks for the information. Is the second class you mentioned French or English speaking? I wonder if the glass of wine improves drawing abilities.

Wine definently improves drawing. Not sure one glass will due though. I tried a bottle once and created mastepieces! ;-)

Well, at least one glass of wine, often you get more depending on how many people attend the session... and, yes, wine definitely has a positive impact! @ Wendy, french and english are spoken at the Ecomusee's life drawing sessions.

Hi, more information about Matisse' reply :

Pictura will be probably closed from June to the end of October. The time of poses on Tuesday are from 5 to 20 minutes (short poses) and on Thursday from 15 to 45 minutes (long poses). Every first Tuesday of the month a man is the model.

Ecomusée : you can ask to be on the sms list so you receive every week one or two days before the session the model's name.
