I passed by the shop window this evening and they have live little chicks in the window display, 1 little guy was stuck outside the plastic all alone with no food or water and could not get back in 
I managed to find the owners and rang one and told him, the guy said he would go and check. If anyone is passing please check and let me know so I can follow up if he survives, it’s so cruel to have them there and even more cruel over weekend.

You could also phone the SGPA (Société genevoise pour la Protection des Animaux) and perhaps they will send someone to check out the situation.
It does sound as if there is room for improvement in the way these chicks are housed.

I passed by and the guy went to do something, now this cant happen again :-) The sun was strong so hard to get a good photo. Thanks to Mr Patrick Sandmeier from the Basse-cour Carougeoise

There was a sign in the window saying "owners" so i googled them and arrived at the Basse-cour Carougeoise.
