Looking for Cycling Enthusiast

Hello, I am starting to prepare for a one month cycle along the Danube in September and I am looking to start training. I wanted to ask if anyone else was interested in going on 50-75 km bike rides on weekends. If you don't necessarily want to cycle but have an idea of some good and nearby routes please let me know. I have looked online and there is a lot of good information but ideally I interested to know if someone else is already or would like to do some cycling. let me know if you are interested.

Hello Lucy,

I have done some cycling (my first longer trip as a boy was along the Danube) - so do not hesitate to ask. My last trip was around the Baltic Sea (http://rundostsee.wordpress.com)

Good luck

Hi Lucy, hi Louise,

I'm leaving on the left side of Geneva and looking to find other people for a ride. I don't realy know my level I've done the 180 km arround the lake in seven hours, but with a group. I won't have so much time before the Triathlon of Geneva, but would be glad to go for a ride one time at the end of July.

See you. Sophie

Hello Sophie,

if you also like to do some mountain passes I would like to share a ride - I would like to prepare for the Ötztal Marathan.

Hi Lucy, sounds like a great trip!

I'm interested in the types of rides you are looking for.  Am new to the area and don't have a car yet, but have my bikes.  No problem doing 50-75km rides with or without hills.

Happy to join in as well for 50-75km rides in the area.

I'm not a racer but can push myself if needed :-)

Hello all,

What a great surprise that so many are interested.

Well if anyone is free on Sunday the 10th of July we could do a route 50.-75 km. I fear that I am the least fit of you all, what false advertisement!

If you guys let me know who is free and who wants to go we can figure out a route. I am completely unfamiliar so if someone wants to volunteer to be a leader that would definately be promising.

Hi Lucy, hi Nancy,

I'm going tomorrow for a short run (1.30-2 hours) in morning, if possibl at about 9.30-10 am. The only bad thing is that I have a special training and cannot go above 115 puls, or just after 30 min (at maximum 125 puls). But it would be a pleasure to go with someone of you.

With this training I can do about 40 km.
