I am looking for a tailor or seamstress who can teach me the basics in individual one-on-one sessions in his/her home or workshop (paid, of course)

I own an old but functioning electrical sewing machine from the 1980ies, on which i currently do only very rough seams and stitches. I have no professional ambitions, but would like to learn - in a very hands-on and practical way - the correct basics like altering garmets, adapting simple patterns, sewing proper necklines and inserting sleeves.

Ideally, the sessions would happen in the evening during the week (Geneva or Lausanne) or on weekends (Geneva). English, French or any other language is fine. This will be hands-on, so i am sure we can manage in any language.

I have tried Migros courses before, but they were just no good. If you are a professional seamstress or tailor, or you know someone, i would be very excited to hear from you - please drop me an email into my glocals inbox.
