I am interested in visiting a countryside environment with farm houses, mountains and nice rural setting for a day outing with chalets where we can stay overnight.

There have been plenty of forums covering this su^bjuect but as you do not give any indication as to whether you have kids, car or public transport. Whether you just want to have a bar with a mountain scenery which will become blurred as the day goes on, impossible to give any advice.
Advice anyway is subjective. £Google mountain breaks in Switzerland or famr break in -switzerlwnd or outings with families in Switzerland
Try CFF website.
Go to various touriswt office website
Stay at home and tune inot a tv channel which shows mountains or farmhouses
