Looking for a non-professional PETSITTER!

Searching a petsitter in Geneva, who is willing to take care of my chihuahua girl Luna in your home when I am away on trips & holidays.

The perfect candidate should speak english,dutch or german, not have small children, and preferably do not have other (big-) dogs in the house.

I am NOT looking for a professional petsitter because of the reason that Luna doesn't get very well along with other dogs. More important is that you have a heart for animals and are willing to take care of my chihuahua from time to time as if it was your own and that you are prepared to build up a personal relationship with her for a longer periode of time.

I would be happy to come over to your house to discuss further details and to see if you 'connect' with each other.

Hey Bella Stella,

I see you have many responses already, but if you still have a some need for your dog to be kept, I'm used to being with dogs and live alone with my boyfriend, no pets or children. I mainly work from home and could easily take care of your dog when you're away, if the timing is right of course.

I'd do it, but Luna would have to be ok with accompanying me to rowdy pubs...

On second thoughts, a female chihuahua may give the wrong impression...

Good luck finding the right person.

Luna is a perfect dog when she is around, even in rowdy pubs. She would be fine...

But probably you could not handle all the female attention that you would get, by going around with a little sweet dog. ;)

Hello Charlie,

I just saw this and thought maybe I could help. I am not sure what your requirements are, but my retired parents-in-law are professional pet sitters with references. They have had their own dogs all their life and now in retirement take care of other's pets. In the last few months they have sat for 2 dogs in Normandie for 2 weeks and then 2 cats, and a flock (?) chickens for 3 weeks. Perhaps they would be able to help you out if you haven't already found someone. With such a cute dog, I am sure you have many offers, but then again many people don't really know what taking care of a pet truly entails.
