Does anybody know of cheap accommodation to rent for a day or 2 in Geneva? Youth Hostels apparently want guests to commit for a minimum of 3 nights.

Anybody has a spare furnished room and wishes to rent it for 2 days?

There is a 'bed and breakfast' site for Switzerland: bnb.ch. You can then perform a search for places in Geneva for your timeframe and see what is available.

Thanks to all for the suggestions!
I use AirBnB a lot but the options in GVA is quite limited and VERY expensive (as for everything else that relates to housing in this city I guess).

The city hostel is worth to investigate.

Instead of writing a forum thread, you should put an ad on the "Classifieds" section of the website. A lot of people are putting up their apartments for sublease right now. Just be careful of scammers. Good luck!

It's only a maybe yes because I'll not be in Geneva at that time, but I can ask my roommate.

We have an extra room for guests.

I'll let you know.
