Looking for accomodation on French/Swiss border - close to Geneva

I may be working in Geneva for 3 months (starting 1st week in Feb) and need cheap (but clean) accomodation. It appears that it's cheaper to live in France and commute into Geneva. I don't mind sharing but would prefer not to. I would need any helpful information as soon as possible. Any ideas out there?
