Looking for an Organic cotton shop
Hello,

Been reading up on good clothing practices and have realized eco-cotton is the way forward. http://news.independent.co.uk/environment/article1162751.ece

So, anybody have a list of good eco-clothes shop?
I've looked into most of the websites mentioned in the above link and I've realized there seems to be nothing for Switzerland, let alone Geneva.

Switzerland seems to be lagging behind in eco-clothes. Sad really.
Would be happy to know of any shops. Thanks.

the Naturaline range of organically produced cotton textiles at the Co-op?
Alternatively over the border in France, I think that Satoriz, a chain of health food stores, sells a few items of eco-cotton clothing. There is one in Ambilly (44 route de Gen?ve - 0033 450 388808) and another in Ferney-Voltaire(31 rue Voltaire - 0033 450 407862). They might also be able to give you further information on specialist shops. I'd also be interested so please post any information if you find out more.
Thanks!

This shop's web site is quite interesting and they seem to have an online store (my problem is i dont like on-line shopping) and outlets near here. I've listed some below.
Coop seems interesting, i just like nice styles and choice which you sometimes dont get in big supermarket chains but i'll check it out in detail. As for Satoriz, they sell L'Oka Terre eco-clothing.
Just wanted something in Geneva, dont have a car.
Will update with any new info.
Susie.

You could go to Ferney by bus (bus F, I think), it's next to Geneva.

Dont like buses for long trips especially when I'm only shopping.

I've found out that Switcher has also made a name for itself in Organic Cotton wear. And Mouton de 5 Pattes sometimes has very good quality organic-cotton clothes.
