Hi,
Bad experience in France for me... I recommand Dr Marie Cornelis. She works at Centre Médico-Dentaire Balexert: www.cmdbalexert.ch/en
She is very nice with children, give all informations needed. The technology is up to date. And also very important, the price is acceptable for Geneva: value of the point at 3.6 and her philosophy is to make the treatment as short as possible (less disagreement for children and less expensive). The cost estimate between France and there was really small...

sorry, one more question: according to the dentist the orthodontics may only needed from 1 year later when all the teeth are replaced however, I was adviced to make an appointment with the orthodontist already as it takes time for them to advise, check and even make an appointment...is it true? thanks!

Hi,
My experience is very good.. I had a first appointment just for a quick diagnosis (CHF 70.- to 100.-). At that moment, the orthodontist told me approximately the price and the duration of treatment (it could go from 6 months to 2 years depending on the initial situation). But the goal of this orthodontist is to make the treatment as short as possible (and therefore less expensive). If you agree, you then go for "the initial documentation" and the precise diagnosis.. You receive all the documentation that answer most of the questions.. She also invited me to consult their website "orthodontics" part with a lot of information. You probably find here the answer when to consult with your son.
Everything goes well for me... you don't have to wait to much for an appointment and they are open 7/7 in case of emergency. Ask for Dr Marie Cornelis.
Good luck. Hope I helped you..

I go to Mark and Sherry Harris in Lucinges - a little village near Ville la Grand/Annemasse. You will need a car to go there. They are both from the UK and offer a combined orthodontic and osteopathic treatment. This way, they can often shorten the treatment period and limit the side effects (like back pain etc). They are not expensive. I paid for a 18 month treatment 4500 CHF, the osteopathy comes extra.
