Looking for an accredited translator

Hi,

I am looking for an accredited translator because I need to have my uni degrees translated from German into French. Maybe I will also need translations of work certificates.

Can anyone recommend someone who doesn't charge excessive fees?

Thanks for your help!

Can try Euroscript.  They do professional translations.  We were in adjoining office and seemed to be OK....

Hi, did you ever find a good (as in cheap, for a poor student...), French to English Accredited Translator, and if so can you forward their contact details please?

Why not ask at the Faculty of Translators and Interpreting?

However, there is a fixed tariff for the translation of official documents  that require accreditation and accredited translators are not allowed to undercut.

Hope this helps nevertheless.

Does this need to be done in Switzerland?

Why not try neighbouring France. Probably less expensive

You’re probably right about the cost, Sheila, but the person concerned should check whether the translation has to be done by a translator based in Switzerland.  Otherwise, it might be money down the drain.

if the translations have to be made by an official sworn translator in Geneva, there is a list of "traducteurs-jurés" on internet. Their prices are defined by law.
