Looking for gym/fitness equipment in Geneva

Hi all,


I am just after some basic fitness stuff for the apartment - light free weights, balance board, fitness ball etc. but am struggling to find some decent options.  I have been to Manor and SportXX and Hofstetter and there is 1 thing there and another choice over there but nothing with a wide range or decent products, and havn't even seen a balance board/disc anywhere. 


I've only been here a few weeks so aren't up with all the shops yet, if someone can point me to what I have been missing it would be much appreciated, cos this is getting frustrating.

I got an elliptical from the sports store at Belexert; they also carry a nice catalogue so it may be useful. I wasn’t very happy with the sports stores I visited in France esp. because they didn’t deliver in Geneva. If you don’t have the same problem and have a car you may also want to try some French stores which carry a wider selection.


 I am particularly satisfied with Kettler. I think it is a decent amount of money and a solid workout machine.

Try www.sport-tiedje.ch. Large online store with a warehouse in Zurich, and they might offer free shipping depending on what you get. They are sure to have a balance board, they have a lot of stuff!


We did order a large elliptical from them back in May and found them quite satisfactory.
